CompassPrivacy policy
In short — Compass has no accounts and does not collect personal data or send it to any server of ours. If you allow location, it is used on your device only, for true north, coordinates and the map, and it is not stored. There are no ads or analytics.
This policy explains how the Compass app (the "app"), published by Tae-jin Jeon (the "developer"), handles information.
1. Personal data we collect
None. The app has no sign-up, sign-in or cloud storage, and sends nothing to servers operated by the developer.
2. Information used only on your device

Location permission is optional. The magnetic compass, level and calibration guide all work without it. Coordinates leave the app only when you tap Copy or Share, to the clipboard or to the app you choose.
3. Maps (Google Maps)
Map mode uses the Google Maps SDK for Android. To draw the map, your device requests map imagery from Google, which may give Google the requested map area, your IP address and device information. Google handles this under its own policy; the developer does not receive it.
If you do not use map mode, no requests are made to Google Maps.
4. Sharing and processors
Because no personal data is collected, none is shared with or processed by third parties on the developer's behalf.
5. Ads and analytics
The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the app update that introduces them.
6. Your choices
- Change or revoke location permission at any time in the system settings: Apps → Compass → Permissions.
- Delete stored settings with "Reset settings" in the app or by uninstalling it.
- Send privacy questions to the contact below; we answer without delay.
7. Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
